Synopsis

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian follows the story of Alisa Mikhailovna Kujo, a beautiful and talented half-Russian girl who sits next to Masachika Kuze in class. While Alya appears cold and aloof in Japanese, she occasionally mutters sweet things in Russian that only Masachika can understand.

Masachika, who understands Russian but pretends not to, finds himself in an amusing situation as he hears Alya's hidden affectionate comments. The series explores their developing relationship as Masachika decides how long he can keep up his facade while enjoying Alya's secret confessions.
