Synopsis
Mitsuha, a high school girl living in the rural town of Itomori, yearns for a life in Tokyo. Taki, a high school boy living in Tokyo, has a passion for architecture and part-time work at an Italian restaurant. One day, they suddenly switch bodies. They experience each other's lives, communicating through notes and messages. But as the phenomenon occurs more frequently, they develop a strange connection and growing curiosity about each other.
As they try to uncover the truth behind their mysterious connection, they discover a celestial event that threatens to keep them apart forever.
